Who here thinks Metallica is the best metal band in the world?

I swear if someone comes here saying KoRn is better.... I love metallicas 4 minute complicated guitar solos. and there complicated drumming. and there awesome bass lines

I like then ew bands like KoRn or system of a down but they will never be as musically skilled as Metallica

BQ- Why do all these new bands like KoRn or system of a down have NO guitar solos? Thats why i think there not as good.

I dont think they are the best band ever, and I do pefer Korn over them.



I you really think a band is only as musically talented as how many guitar solos they have, you have some real problems.

Nah, purely your run of the mill metallic band with simplistic riffs and a few fancy music structures to conceal the actuality James Hetfield can no longer write riffs like Andy Sneap or Mille Petrozza and that Kirk Hammett continually clashes with the team spirit because of the fact that he continually insists on utilising phrygian runs he presses down too troublesome so he is going sharp because of the fact he frets the notes too troublesome because of the fact that his action is a techniques too intense. the only reason they have been given familiar became into because of the fact James Hetfield's boneheaded riffs take a seat nicely with the commonplace listener as something greater in touch could bypass over their heads.

Well Metallica is one of my favorite bands, and they're practically unbeatable live. There's lots of better bands out there though... Rush for example.



Comparing them to Korn is pointless though. All the guys in Korn are really shitty musicians... especially Fieldy. He's probably the worst bassist ever. Korn fans love them though... and they'll defend them to the death. It's just ignorance.

Korn was amazing with all their original people. They might not have complicated solos, but their use of the 7 string guitar really changed things. They were amazing live. I met them, and they were really cool.



Metallica lost points to me, one with Lars being a whiney little spooge when the whole NAPSTER thing went down, then they cut their hair and completely changed their music.
