My Ford Focus is making a random clicking noise on the left side towards the bottom. It clicks constantly when the car is running, but the faster the car gets the faster the clicking is. It started when I had to slam on my brakes yesterday. It's not overheating and the check engine light is not on. What could it be?

Your ABS sensor got knocked out of place, it sits slightly behind the rear side of your brake caliper. My car does the same thing.

The rubber band is too tight.

Just kidding - It would be an issue with your brake pad or the front caliper.

check your oil level when the car is cool... sounds like you are a quart low
