I wanna tour with someone.
Like open up for someone Disney or something.
I'm 16.
How can I get out there?
Get ahold of important people?
I wanna make a CD and get out there!
How can I get ahold of a good selling music producer?!

Ask your Parents if they know of anyone firstly.

They might have some close friends with several ideas.

Maybe you could ask your friends if they know of an idea as well.

You could always try out for contests, and try outs you know?

They're mostly held in NYC, but there's try outs for everything anywhere you look really. Look at the internet for events near you. You could always make a video of yourself singing and post it on Youtube. There's plenty of people who started off their career there! :) Like Soulja Boy for example.

Find out next auditions for American Idol. Move to Florida or make arrangements to visit so that u can look into Universal Studios; where they make all the TV series and movies. Research and u need an agent, head shots, resume of previous talent work u have done. That's a start. R

okay, first of all, DON'T GO FOR DISNEY! They are nothing but manipulative, and once you're in, you're not out until you aren't making any more money. You're nothing to them but a tool for their greedy, selfish iontentions.

Secondly, it takes more to be a GOOD musical artist than just a great voice. Lyrics are key, but don't be straightforward. Use a lil poetic elements to make it more interesting and heartfelt.

Thirdly, it's hard to get into the music bussiness. I'm not as old as you, and I can already tell that you're not ready. Live out your teen years LIKE A TEEN! Have fun! Then when once you're older, start doing business. But for now, live life like... life.

Youtube. Since you don't know someone, that is your only route. You have to constantly put video's up. Non stop. With your music. Send them to people. As your fan base grows, ask some web programmer to make you a website probono. Otheriwse, create a myspace. But do not (DO NOT) turn it into anything but your music. Your career will die the second you start making your page into anything else but YOUR music, your style, your sound.

Live. Breath. And Eat your music. Be your own fan. Thats' the best advice I can give.

well you could post on youtube myspace go on american idol talk to an agent. but what you have to know is that its not going to come automatically. what im doing is seeing a singing coach and she wants me to audition for this thing called fedora girls. its about some girls that become famous and stuff. not quite sure. check this out. im not in it yet, still gotta try out but its really cheesy haha. but still you've gotta start somewhere. its supposed to be some sorta tv show. so any of the stuff i listed above and a singing coach to help you along with an agent.

If I were you I'd make a video and put it on YouTube. See what kind of response you get. Many people think they have great voices but don't and many people who do have great voices don't ever make it. You have to be the whole package. What kind of music do you sing? Do you just sing or can you write your own songs? Best of luck to you.

Basically you can't. Get a good song writer. Get them to write you songs (will cost a lot) record the songs. Send it to every record label EVER and then -maybe- you will get signed.



You might get an indie (independant) record label, but thats nothing special. If you get signed to a major thats when you know you've made it.



Chances of this are about 0.0001% though.

You know, I think Youtube is actually the most effective method nowadays. O_o Myspace doesn't work as well anymore, now that it's not so popular... But all of the people I subscribe to on Youtube have gotten signed and have CD's out! It's great! I think you can even sign up for a musician account, too. =)
