Mine is waking up a bit late and having a fried breakfast while reading the morning newspapers and watching morning television with a cup of tea.

Then spending a few hours on the beach, going for a swim or a surf and having a bit of lunch outside somewhere.

Then meeting up with a few mates for some afternoon beers in the dying heat of the sun for a few hours and chatting about loads of rubbish.

Then going home for a chinese takeaway, some good music, a bottle of wine (and some lovemaking if I am in a relationship)

What is yours? It will be interesting to see the big differences in peoples idyllic day.

Way down deep in the middle of the Congo, a hippo took an apricot, a guava and a mango. He stuck it with the others, and he danced a dainty tango. The rhino said, "I know, we'll call it Um Bongo", Um Bongo, Um Bongo, They drink it in the Congo. The python picked the passion fruit, the marmoset the mandarin. The parrot painted packets, that the whole caboodle landed in. So when it comes to sun and fun and goodness in the jungle, They all prefer the sunny funny one they call Um Bongo!

I'm hoping it will be a perfect Saturday this one coming as it is my birthday!

I will have a lie in (make some sweet love with my hubby!), get up and have a bacon and cheese roll for breakfast whilst watching a bit of TV. Then I am going to have a leisurely bath and pamper myself a bit before meeting my dad in town. We are going to a restaurant for lunch then shopping (he is buying me a new watch as mine has been broken since Christmas). Then I am heading home for a few beers (hopefully in the garden if it's nice) and then in the evening meeting up with some friends where I will probably drink too much, talk compete rubbish, invite a load of people back to the house where we will sing and dance the night away!

Your perfect Saturday sounds wonderful! If it wasn't my birthday I would want to spend the day like that (although I don't live near the beach so it would have to be sunbathing in my garden rather than swimming!) and I might substitute the take away for a bar-b-q.

Hope you have a good one what ever you get up to though x

Wake up late, let my wife feed our son while I cook some eggs, sausage and pancakes. Play with my son the rest of the morning.

Have a few friends over for a dip in the pool and a BBQ, listen to music and play games.

After dark put the kids to bed, and heat up the hot tub enjoy a few cold brews under the clear starry night.

Send the friends home and take the wife upstairs and well we all know how that ends....

The perfect Saturday starts with me staying in bed until noon. Then getting up and having a nice brunch.

Then I would like to take a drive someplace and take a good book and lay under the trees and relax and read. I'd probably take a lunch, sharing some of it with the birds.

Then later, I'd go home and relax some more, listening to music and order a pizza for dinner.

waking up to a warm fresh morning out on my patio.

all the housework and gardening has been done of course.... everything is clean after a brief shower during the night...

hot coffee and warm honeyed croisants at my elbow and a fresh saturday newspaper...

birds are singing and feeding at the feeder, the grass is mowed and one I have read the paper, I'll crack open my computer and surf for a bit....

then I'll hop in the car with my husband and take a nice long drive to some little town to explore some antique shops... maybe buy an estate ring for myself and some little piece of furniture or a painting.

go for lunch at some little quaint restaraunt and then visit a flea market and have loads of fun exploring....

then homeward for a bbq burger and relax with a potted fire in the yard and a cooler in my hand.

Probably get up a little late. Watch the news to see if anything is going on. Call up some friends and play soccer all day. After which go home and get cleaned up for a night out in town.

Hehe.

For me, I think I like a Sunday when I wake up at a comfortable time, preferably later than usual. Then, eat a breakfast made by someone special to me, followed by resting at home the whole day with that someone, or going out alone just with that someone.

The main point is, relax the whole day =)

for me,

waking up in an early morning and feeling the cool breeze and taking a walk or jogging outside ur place and having breakfast with pancakes(or anything!) outside

after that, you meet with your friends, old colleagues, and family and have bonding time. spending quality time together like shopping, going to park, playing golf, basketball, billiards, volleyball, and swimming(same with yours.)

and after that you have your dinner at a resto with ur very favorite food and chatting with them.. and at night you`ll be alone reading ur fav book then having a mild shower and sleeping tightly with your loved one or ur fav stuff.. getting ready for another day.

how `bout you? whats your idea of perfect sunday?

My perfect Saturday is doing nothing at all. Sleeping late as I want too not having to set an alarm clock letting my body wake me up. Doing whatever it is that I want to do. No telephone, no cellphone ringing, no knocks at the door.
