Just to name one, my great-grandmother & grandmother both say, (when we have bangs and they get too long)"Cut your bangs! You don't want to look like Ish Kabibble!"

My grandparents have this weird thing when they think somethings cute (like dogs) they say 'Oh my dahhh' I have no idea where this phrase originated from, but they always say it.

When we were little, if we got hurt my grandmother would say"it's a long way from you *ss, you'll never sit on it" (???) My mother says , in reference to a long time ago"when Hector was a pup" "he's as old as dirt" "this hurts me more than it hurts you"(get spanked)
"we're going to sell you to the gypsies" if we were bad."eat your crusts-it'll make your hair curly"-it didn't.

lol,yes,my Mother and Grandmother had a slew of them,lol,ironically alot as time went on were very true,one being,many a true word is said,in a joke.
