Buddy Holly was a pioneer in Rock music, some parents wanted him banned from public appearances.



Dwayne Eddy was one of the earliest I remember who really moved those fingers on the guitar.



Joe Walsh of the Eagles is good too. Saw him cranking it up on the Melbourne Australia video.



And those are guys most younger folks don't know.



The lead guitarist for a group called, "The Ventures" did some early pieces but can't remember his name.

Yngwie Malmsteen, Michael Angelo Batio, and Buckethead are all amazing guitar shredders who are definitely worth checking out. Of course, if you've played the song "Jordan" on Guitar Hero 2, then you probably already know about Buckethead...

Carlos Santana is still rockin' but has always been an incredible guitarist.
