Aussie expression poll: what does "i can't be bothered" really mean?

ok i might be stupid but i noticed u guys use "i can't be bothered" really i wouldn't say it in the context u guys say it... i think i'm just thinking to much... so any clarification? thanks..

It means exactly as it says or another way to express it is "I can't be f*cked."

Pretty much means will not or does not want to deal with whatever the situation is. Not going to talk about it or handle it



Which means it actually does bother them, but they're going to push it away so it doesn't :)

I think Aussies use a slightly more colourful version but it means I haven't got the energy or enthusiasm to do something.

'I can't be bothered' simply means......geez this is hard, cuz usually I'd say "I can't be bothered means, I can't be bothered".....lol ummm, we use it like when we don't want to do something because we're too tired, can't be fussed?....ummmm, I've never come across somebody who doesn't know what it means or who doesn't use it so I can't explain it, sorry.....

im from australia and use that heaps hahaha its when you cant do something or don't intend to its just in the aussie culture we are born with it so we don't realize it but we just say it
