Is wrong to look for a male role model?

Is it wrong if I "search" for a someone to be a male role model. I feel it's wrong because I'm using them to meet my emotional needs. Do you think so?

Your role model, who happens to be male, should be Jesus.



Jesus showed us how to live. You should continue your search because there is nothing wrong with meeting new people. The LORD gave us two great commandments: love God and love your neighbor.

I don't think you should rely on someone to meet your emotional needs. It's fine to have a role model and all that, but realize no one's perfect.
