I would shape shift, and most likely use my power to rob banks, since I would plan to take the bank manager hostage, threaten him that I will hurt his family if he doesn't cooperate, and then proceed to steal the money; and this would go on to bank to bank, and then eventually to jewelery stores, and museums.
