Well, I have been a very avid Harry Potter fan for several years now, (I was in the fifth grade when Sorcerer's Stone really hit it big in the US)(I'm in college now)(and I much prefer the books, but the movies are very enjoyable when separated from the books...) and I am soooo frigging excited about the half-blood prince movie, partially because I love Alan Rickman so much and this one has a lot more of him than the earlier ones. Which brings me to my question- When looking at IMDB.com, at Alan Rickmans page, they say that he is signed on for Deathly Hallows part 1, but, as I am sure you are aware by now, they are splitting that movie into two parts, and Alan Rickman is not listed for part two. I am wondering if they are going to let the first movie go all the way up until Snape dies, but thats really far into that book, and would leave the battle to consume an entire movie. Do you think he is just not signed on YET, do you think part two will be the battle for hogwarts,or do you have a completely different theory? Serious answers only, please!

I'm certain that Alan Rickman is signed for part 2. Or your theory seems right... But I don't see why he wouldn't sign on for the second part. That would be really stupid.

I think he is probably not signed on yet or dies right at the end of the first part. i can't imagine that the whole second movie would be about the battle for hogwarts, though.

so he porbably just hasn't signed on yet or they forgot to post ir or something.

he should sign, apart from Emma i think only he portrays harry potter character best! half the battle (most the book) is over when Snape dies..its no way a movie left !!
