In a fictional book, you don't have to worry about accuracy as far as writing it. You can make up whatever you want. As far as reading it, you aren't too concerned with historical accuracy unless you're a Middle Earth nerd and know everything there is to know about the Elven race...including who fathered who(it's seems about as ridiculous as Leviticus at times). You can imagine fictional animals and such...and the images won't be ruined unless you see a movie about the book.

I only read nonfiction! I gave fiction a chance a couple of times, but I just don't feel like I'm learning anything. Nonfiction can be entertaining and you can learn something!
There are lots of nonfiction books that are FULL of imagination!

I like fiction because it allows me to escape everyday life instead of having to think and process information as I would with non-fiction. Some people really like non-fiction. I guess it just depends on how your mind works.

History verses dreams. they each have there place. I would rather read fiction because I get over run with facts every day.

reality is too constricting while fiction opens your mind to things you wish could happen with a twist of magic, whether fantasy, historical, or otherwise

All books are good, according to how they are written.
