What does XD Mean When Texting?

When i teaxt and online chat all my friends do a little symbol that looks like this: XD. what does it mean???

its a smiley face.... look at it sideways. like :D or ;) it just has an X instead.... XD i personally dont use it out of my mass vocabulary of smileys, but ya, thats what it is..... i hope i helped.... :)

It means that the eyes are squinting and the mouth is smiling XD

tilt it to the side, and it is a hard laughing face. As in laughing so hard that their eyes are squinted and mouths are open. But most of the time it's just a regular "that's funny" symbol.

Its a super happy face. XD is the equivalent of you closing ur eyes and smiling.

It could be two things. It can be a smiley face, if you said something nice. It can also mean laughing OD hard cuz you said something funny.
