Has Yahoo ever reinstated your deleted content?

As in have you appealed against a deleted question or answer and they have reposted it.

Yes, several times. Over the years I've had maybe 20 or 30 answers reported. Whenever I have had content deleted, it's been for 'failure to follow the community guidelines', in my case by giving a smart *** comment instead of an answer. Some days I'll get a little frustrated or snarky.



I usually don't appeal, but if I feel I did give an answer, I'll appeal. My results are probably 50% win.



Since I don't appeal legitimate deletions, that's far more than my overall record of deletions vs reinstatements. Probably at least 75% of my deletions stand.

Yes, about 25% of the time. I had something reinstated yesterday that had been deleted about a month ago, and I don't even recall appealing it.



A couple weeks ago I went on a witch hunt and blocked more than 150 people. I haven't had a violation since.

Yes, most of the time, in fact. I argue logic in my appeals and re-post the appeal several times.

I even cite the guidelines back to them - "My Q or A is NOT chat, rant adult content, spam, insulting other members, etc."

sure, 3 days in the past, I had an answer bumped off. I appealed, and interior below 40 8 hours my answer replaced into restored. I additionally won right here message: "Upon evaluation, we stumbled on that right here answer replaced into no longer in violation of the solutions community policies or Yahoo! words of provider........The Yahoo! solutions team regrets that your answer replaced into wrongfully reported via the solutions community. Your answer has been reposted to Yahoo! solutions, and we are sorry for any inconvenience this could have brought about." good success =)

Yes, I asked a question on what sort of car were peoples dream cars, and it got blocked, but I complained and it got reinstated.
