I was called "gay" because of the music I like?

Some classmates were thumbing through my music collection on my Ipod, and made some rather rude remarks about me based on my music collection. What is wrong with it, and what would you rate it?

You kidding me? ACDC, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Bob Marley, Cream, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Guns and Roses, MJ, Jimi Hendrix, Black Sabbath... Even if I don't like ALL of the music on the list, I can tell you've got great taste (but, uh.. where's Aerosmith? :P). It's not all that auto-tune junk most people listen to these days... There is absolutely nothing wrong with it, I have no idea what your classmates are talking about.

Just don't listen to them \m/

That's probably because you don't really have much on there thats current. I could listen to about a third of your list and enjoy it myself.



When you said they called you gay cuz of your Ipod selection I was really expecting to see gay music on your Ipod....ie.....Liza Minnelli (sp) and the music in musicals, that sort of thing, not your list which has some pretty hard rock in it......Hard Rock is not gay so they didn't really mean you must be gay.........they just used it in the wrong context is all.........no biggie. Next time just say whatever dude and walk away.

The people/person who called you "gay" is/are immature. just because you have a different taste of music than them, doesn't make you gay. I actually like some of the bands you listed (Foo Fighters, the Killers, MGMT, etc...), but does that make me gay for liking those kinds of bands? No.

There is nothing wrong with the bands you listen to. You shouldnt let little things like that offend you. Who cares if some people dont like your music, the important thing is thats the kind of music you enjoy listening to and if someone doesnt like it then too bad.

I'd just ignore them who cares what they think listen to the music you wanna listen to and ignore their immature comments they obviously have issues with themselves but rather then deal with them choose to make other people feel bad. Ignore the jerks and keep rocking out to whatever songs you like.
