I am happy with my Christmas arrangements, but there are times when I think I would just rather book a holiday in a hotel and let someone else do all the cooking. I know I would miss all the preparations if I did go to a hotel.

I did spend Christmas away one year and although I enjoyed it, it wasn't "Christmas" We had champagne on the beach Christmas Day and a lovely meal but when we arrived home we decorated the tree and celebrated Christmas over New Year.

Nothing has been planned and yes I would rather be a million miles away.

I think the time has come for me to spend my Christmas as far away as possible from my normal life-style. For me recent Christmas`s have lost their joy and excitement.

Children make Christmas what you would like it to be, when there are no longer any children around

there is no Christmas.......at least for me there is not.

I'm currently trying to get out of an extended family gathering. It's not worth my time. They'll only fight and condemn each others lives.
