MICHAEL BOLTON WAS NOT ONE OF MY FAVORITE ARTISTS, BUT I DO LIKE A LOT OF STUFF FROM THE 60'S, 70'S, AND 80'S. MOST OF TODAY'S MUSIC PALES IN COMPARISON TO THE OLDIES BUT GOODIES.

I can't say I like Michael Bolton but the 80's was a great decade for modern changes to music. I like the British stuff like the Cure and Depeche Mode. I think it is great that at 13 you have individual musical tastes no matter what colour you are. Alot of the people you mentioned are truly great artists who have changed the music we hear today. It's nice to see young people who have well developed tastes as opposed to the worshippers of alot of the really bad stuff that is out there now a days. I mean look at Phil Collins. Great singer/song writer but if he had come out now when you need to be beautiful to even get a chance for a record deal, we'd all have missed out on some great music.

I LIKE SONGS FROM THE 70s (EVEN THOUGH IT WAS MOSTLY DISCO, THERE WERE SOME GOOD TUNES, HEAY METAL, ETC.), I LOVED MUSIC FROM THE 80s AND I LIKED SONGS FROM THE 60s. I HATE RAP AND HIP HOP AND ALL THIS DANCING AROUND TYPE OF STUFF. GIVE ME A GOOD OLD BAR OR ARENA BAND AND ROCK ON!!!
