Tori Amos is a beautiful piano player and singer. I've seen her live many times. I also am a fan of Fiona Apple.

Jewel 1000%!!!
She like my favorite artist ever! i discovered he back in may with her new cd goodebye alice in wonderlang, i loved the single again and again, so much that i bough the cd for the on song. I hadnt ever heard of her before, thought she was new, i got on youtube because i loved evey song on the cd and the numbers where in mi,llions for her songs, i clicked and listened for hours, i loved eveything! i found out that she was really popularin the earlier 90's , amaxing, not no more though - sad:( i like her though, she never re signed to alanta records last month when her contract was up, so i guess it really is goodebye alice in wonderland for her, shes releasind greatest hits in early 2007 though, i cant wait, so its a bittersweet thing that shes leaving, i will definaly but the greatest hits, since all of her songs are greatest hits in my book!

I love them all, but Tori's definitely my favorite!
Songs like "Me and a Gun" and "Caught a Lite Sneeze" still give me chills.
"Me and a Gun" is sung acapella and it's about her rape.
"Caught a Lite Sneeze" was written after Tori's first miscarriage, and Tori says she cries out "Inanna" in the song to plead with the goddess Inanna to bring her daughter back to her.

I think that they are all artist with merit...I especially like Sarah McLaughlin...she has some extremely haunting melodies and complex themes in her music.
