It can be done. Here is the link to tell you how.

You cannot do this, unless you entered, say, $3000 by mistake when you meant $3, and it is an obvious typo. If you didn't do this, you cannot do it now, because the typo will not supersede the original bid. All you can do is hope someone outbids you, because once you have placed a bid, you have entered into a contract, and must fulfill the terms of that contract. So, next time, think before you bid..

Please stop handing thumbs down to the person who is doing it, because ebay specifically asks if you want to commit to buying. when you sign up for the account all their TOS is outlined and you are agreeing that by clicking confirm bid or commit to buy, that's exactly what you are doing... all of these others who told you that you can't aren't giving you false information.

It is up to the seller whether they want to retract your bid. They legally don't have too...

Some kids hacked my account and bought a whole bunch of sex toys... i woke up with about 10 sex toy invoices, I contacted the buyers and they were extremely cool about it, but ebay told me there was nothing they could do. It is my responsibility to keep my account safe.

The only hope you have is your seller... if not they can and will leave you an unpaid item strike for you not fulling your commitment...

actually if you pull it right away you shouldnt get into trouble. I once bid on a hockey jersey. Only after bidding did I realize it was a Medium instead of a Large. I wrote to the guy and apologized. I never got a bad comment for it.

You can't. A bid is a legal contract which you entered into to. If you do not honor it the seller can sue you and give you negative feedback, and possibly have your eBay account closed.

It isn't possible. You can try and get someone to over bid it but their is a slim chance. I'm very sorry and wish you the best of luck.

You can only hope that someone out bids you OR email the owner and let them know it was a mistake

I don't think you can. You can email the seller and if they are nice they might retract the bid for you.

Write the seller & ask or tell them to retract your bid. I have & they are very cooperative.
