Well, I always try to think about the future. What will people think of your child with a certain name..... like Penney for example. Will they be taken seriously in certain situations. If your child becomes an attorney or a doctor, will people look at them as credible or as silly. You have to, unfortunately, think of society as a whole and how they perceive things. Personally, I don't know the rock band, but I do like the name. :)

I think it's kind of fanatical. A little over the top. I went to school with a guy (no lie) and his full name was David Lee Roth Trackwell.
Don't do that to your kid, ok?

its your choice. the only advice i would give is to name your child something that isnt going to get him or her taunted in school. like, dont name your child "Apple" or "Banjo" as some celebs have. And be aware of initials- a friend of mine in school's name was Katie Kay King (initials spell KKK). But your name doesnt fit into any of these things so sounds good!!!

Why not? I mean if Eddie Van Halen can name his son Wolfgang after the great composer (not Puck!) There is no reason why you can't name your child anything you want. Go for it! Awesome name!

Sounds good to me. If Valerie Bertinelli can name her son after a composer (Wolfgang) and Gwyneth Paltrow can name her daughter after a fruit (Apple), why not after a rock band???

If it's ok to name your kid after a fruit, then it's ok to name your kid after a rock band.

it's completely up to you! personally, i have no idea how to pronounce that name, so i'm sure you'll run into that problem with alot of people. my son's name is kai and people constantly pronounce it "kay".
my brother was going to name his daughter pantera, haha.
