I am so speechless right now that I can't even think of a clever response. Wow, this must be what Bush feels like every day of his life...

Well, first off it's only $42 million. Our budget deficit is ten times ten times ten times ten times ten times bigger than that. Secondly, this sort of work creates jobs for useless Americans whose only talent is speaking English and doing menial bureaucratic chores. So we'll see that money back. It's just as if a hundred thousand people had to work an extra ten hours. Or kinda like ten guys had to work an extra hundred thousand hours. No biggie.

But if this sort of tidbit enrages people into deleting pointless bureaucracy and embracing a new era of minimalism in governance, then perhaps it is a great use and not just a good one. Why, we should spend 72 million mailing flyers!

They should have just gave that money to the taxpayers as well. What do they think that we won"t spend the money. How often do we get checks BACK from the government. Trust me most people already have that money spent before it gets here. To spend it just letting us know what we have already heard on the TV radio and Internet. What a waste of trees and money. We will have to use that money for gasoline heating bills medical bills and the high cost of living. Thanks bush gives us 1200 and then will raise the price of everything.since he is done anyway.

Your first thought when reading that is that it's a big waste of money, but the whole reason for the tax rebates to begin with is to stimulate the economy by encouraging spending. So, 42 million spent into our economy is good. When do I get my money again?

Not the best use of $42 million dollars.

Imagine what the normal households relief check would have looked like if instead of sending out mailings they added it to our checks....

Now that would have been a tax relief?!!!

You know after almost 8 years I don't have enough words left to describe my feelings about this so called president and his governments actions. Since I have no words left I am left throwing things at my TV when I hear him speak...I am almost out of things to throw as well.

I'm going to sleep now...nobody wake me until November.

I just want this nightmare to go away...but he's still in the white house.

Every time I see him making an a$$ of himself I picture the Beverly Hillbillies in the white house.

Ohhhh, will it ever end.
