if you found a baby....?

if you found a baby on your doorstep in a cradle and it had a note on its chest saying i cant afford to have a baby have it and dont call the police or else wat would you do???

I will take it in but WILL call the police. "Or else"? "Or else" what? I took the baby in so they should be glad and thankful. Anyway, the mother could be in need of medical care. Finding the mother could be the best thing to do for her.

I would start with a vet visit, and follow their directions. For tonight, however, keep it warm by placing a towel in a small box, and maybe a heating pad UNDERNEATH the box. You will be up all night with it, and will know when to feed it, it will start meowing like there's no tomorrow. You should run to wal-mart and pick up some kitten milk replacement formula and an eye or ear dropper, or a cat bottle. This will be the best thing to feed it. I would just feed it until it acts like it doesn't want any more. Be careful if you end up getting one of the droppers. Make sure the kitten actually swallows the KMR instead of breathing it.

For one thing, I'm not going to raise someone else's kid, and for another thing, I'm not going to let people get away with dumping a baby, no matter whether it's on my doorstep or anywhere else.
