Simple question. Just grab your phone and look at the last photo you have taken and say why you took it. You don't have to say what the photo is exactly, just why. If you have time for a few more then please go ahead.

Example:
Picture 1 - I wanted to take a before picture before I did a major change to my hair so when I take the after photo, I can compare.

Picture 2 - My dad hasn't seen the new bathroom yet as he has been in another country for a while so I took a photo of small details, such as how un-straight a shelf is.

Picture 3 - Because the event was simply hilarious, I took a photo of a massive fire of a barbecue. The food was flamed grilled because someone put so much fuel on it. The photo will remind me how funny the evening was.

A picture of my head. I got smacked in the head by my surf board and had a cut, but couldn't see it. I used the camera to get a better angle.

A lot of selfies without a shirt. I workout and I like to document my body so I can see changes

Pictures of my property. Did a lot of yard work. Cutting down some trees, removing debris and such. Sent the photos to my brother who is not home.

A picture of my sister's fat butt. Sent it to her as an insult and motivator to go exercise

A picture of a letter I wrote home from summer camp 10+ years ago. I kept telling my dad that I peed in my bed and thought it was funny.

A pictures of my brother throughout the house because I have codependency issues...

Skiing action shots. My hand froze for each picture because I can't use the iphone with a glove on.

Well, I take pictures for only 2 main reasons:

1) Social media [Facebook profile pic/sharing stuff]

2) Taking a pic of a moment to look back on

No other reasons I can think of. I'd find it funny if I took a pic of something for no reason unless it was to test out my camera.

Pictures are the past memories, you are able to see the images in your mind but no one can.

Taking pictures gives people the memories on paper and is able to show these memories to other people, even if they are stupid, pointless or plain.

Every picture is always different, taking a picture of yourself is normal. Looking at your picture again in a few years and you will see a huge change.
