Dunkin Donuts or Krispy Kreme? Which do you prefer?

I'm a Dunkin Donuts fan...don't like Krispy Kreme at all. I'll drive out of my way, put my GPS into action and find a Dunkin Donuts instead of going to a Krispy Kreme location. I adore "real" cake donuts.

Dunkin Donuts are just that. They're donuts for someone who drinks a lot of coffee and likes to dunk there donuts into a coffee cup to get them soft so they dissolve easily in the mouth. They are not especially that tasty. Even the specialty donuts at Dunkin are not that great tasting. Krispy Kreme on the other hand is for the Donut Gourmet. The person who might actually prefer tea with their donuts and savors the flavor more than the cake like consistency which Krispy Kreme makes very little of. So, if you're a dunker, you will be much happier at Dunkin Donuts. If you don't care to dunk and your thing is taste and uniquely flavorable specialty donuts, then by all means try a Krispy Kreme. I lean toward Krispy Kreme most of the time because Dunkin does not even make my favorite donut which is the Chocolate Topped Creme filled donut. However, I will admit that I grew up as a dunker taught my grandma who was one of the best and so I occasionally go to Dunkin (who does have the best Coffee by-the-way) and get myself one of those good cake eaten dunkin kinda donuts and just dunk out and enjoy the coffee. But, If I wanna bring a dozen home, they better be Krispy Kreme because the rest of the family thinks Dunkin is for Donks (uh, that's hold'em poker lingo for you non players).

it is extremely like the civil conflict or donuts. Northerners like the cake donuts, southerners like the Kremes. I want the DD Boston cremes AND KK unique glazed. i'll declare that during New England, DD is like faith with stadiums and DDs on each nook. while KK keeps a notably meager existence with a shop here and there yet no robust commercial presence. My puppy peeve with KK is they charge .89/donut that's friggin outrageous (DD single is .sixty 9). i'm particular they p.c. you to purchase a dozen yet my center can not manage that.
