80s bands...who did you like better...Bon Jovi or Cinderella?

I liked Bon Jovi then...I love Bon Jovi now.

You have to respect a band that has stayed together for so many years, and has come out of their youth, drug and disease free, with wives, kids, homes, and apparently, their sanity. And on top of that...they even sound and look better than they did 20 years ago!





Bon Jovi discovered the band Cinderella in 1985, at the Empire Rock Club in Pennsylvania. They opened for Bon Jovi during the Slippery When Wet tour and Bon Jovi has remained an avid supporter of the band ever since.

At the time, I was a much bigger Bon Jovi fan, though I did like Cinderella. NOW, to listen, I like Cinderella much more than Bon Jovi.

I always liked watching Cinderella when I was a little girl. It was so romantic and exciting watching her walk down the steps at the ball and how the Prince looked at her when he first laid eyes on her....As far as the band goes, well, I didn't even know there was a band called Cinderella.



Don't get me wrong...Bon Jovi is a nice looking guy and has the most beautiful white teeth, but he just isn't my style of music.

Yes, you're correct in that Jon Bon Jovi (my heart be still), caught their (Cinderella) act in 1985 and convinced his label, Mercury to sign them on...as it is said, the rest is history...
