Who's watched Dear John, or Avatar?

Question

For those of you who may have seen Dear John, or Avatar... Which is your favorite, and why?

I personally haven't seen Avatar, but for those of you who may have, and if you've watched the Titanic as well, (as most of you know, they come from the same director) .. do you think it's possible that Avatar was said to have better ratings than the Titanic?

Also, those of you who may have seen Dear John, did you read the book before or after? & would you have voted for it as the #1 movie in America? Why, or why not? And those or you who did read the book before, which did you like better- the book of the movie?

Personally i think that the both of them are okay, not the best movie ever, but not awful. i think that avatar was better then dear john. but i love Channing tatum. titanic is by far better then avatar, but the both of them are also good. i haven't read dear john but i don't really like to read book-->movies or movies-->book. i would have voted for dear john, but like i said, its b/c of Channing Tatum.

AVATAR WAS AWESOME!!!!!!! best movie i've seen in a while! but i watched titanic the other day and i must say, it is an unforgettable movie! but honestly, i think avatar is an amazing movie and is better than titanic.

i saw avatar, loved it, and i hated titanic, so i could totally see how it's better than titanic. and for dear john, i've never seen or read it, because the title tells you exactly how it's going to end.

I jus went to see Dear John today and absolutely loved it.

I saw Dear John. I didn't read the book before or after... I DEFINITELY would NOT rate it #1 movie in America. It was horrible. Really, VERY stupid, ahah.
