Alligators are very primitive and instinctual animals, so my answer would have to be no. Alligators don't even hesitate to eat their own young let alone some random kitten.

hey girl, I currently work at a zoo and have written multiple books about growth and development in early stages of cats life's as well as alligators . Through my studies in the field i have found it to work about half of the time.

I think they could be the best of friends. I mean cats can be pretty aggressive. You just need to love each on unconditionally.

Pretty unlikely, but I could see it happening. Every once in a while there are "odd couple" species that get along.

There is a zoo that has a lion, tiger and bear housed together. They were rescued from a neglecting owner. When they were separated they wouldn't eat, so the zoo try to test putting them together again and they started eating and now live happily together.
