Media's always been a problem, they give the stories that will shock and awe people, when they become boring something else comes up, sad but that's what they do to make money.
I see the angle you're coming from, sometimes we gotta stop and think, are things really this bad?
Most people work hard for their money, long hours are common, so if they wanna sit and watch their soaps, or listen to music on the ipod that they bought with their money then is that so bad?
You are an individual, if you don't want to follow the phases then be yourself and do what you want to. There are many tragedies happening everyday, we all face our own sadness. Fine, shout your abuse at me for saying this, but no its not our problem, and its natural for us not to be as bothered as if it were more personal. But we as a nation hear of these things everyday, no one has forgotten, but we can't stop and dedicate our lives to one missing person. Especially if we look at how many people are missing at this minute and how many families go through hell, yet they don't have the luxury of the entrie nation being sympathetic.
Life is worth more than sitting thinking about how bad things are and how fed up you are with the way its going. Go out to a country park and look at all the wildlife, flowers, breathe in the air, take in the scenery, realise life is an amazing thing and you make it what it is.
