I'm in my 60s and I still think Bob Dylan is weird. I also think he is very overrated. If you listen to the same ramblings of Arlo Guthrie, you'll find out, Dylan is a wee bit more whacked out than other folks from that generation.

I know this might sound strange to you, but Charles Manson could have just as easily been one of those "weirdos" which everyone seems to think is fantastic. Chuck just had a bad start in life, but his poetry before 1969 is well written and just as delightful and witty as Bob Dylan's poetry.

The only differences between Guthrie, Dylan and Manson: Manson slipped off the deep-end and couldn't find his way back. The other two brought a map & directions.
