I have played since 3rd grade, 6 years. Mine is a Gemheinhart.

I've played flute since the 6th grade, so 4 years now. My flute is a Yamaha, but it needs to be replaced soon because it's really old and doesn't work too well anymore (it was both my cousins' and they got it at a pawn shop). I'm playing piccolo next year for marching band and I'm a student leader too. =)

Yes you sure can play the flute with braces. It may be a little challengeing at first but you will get used to it Good Luck

Yep, only since 4 years ago though. We / had / to play instruments at my school once we reached a certain grade. Mine is the same brand as yours! ;D
