Okay, so I took a video on my iPhone 5s last Friday and I really need this video back today. Last Saturday morning, I was transferring the video and other pictures to my PC. I was doing the copy and paste thing, but the iTunes backup was going on in the background(but it didn't finish backing up). I have the video file on my phone, but I can't play it. It just says unsupported or corrupt file. I think it's because since I was in a hurry so I guess while it was being pasted on my computer, I deleted the video on my iPhone 5s. I deleted it because it was taking up too much space since it's like 20 minutes long. So how can I recover this video? I really need to. I've already tried many iPhone data recovery programs, but NONE of them worked. -.- So I don't wish to use those methods. Please help?!

In fact, when you find your video is partially synced, at that moment you can use PhoneClean to fix it and make it re-playable on your iPhone 5. Just like the method mentioned in this post. http://www.imobie.com/support/fix-corrupted-file-on-iphone.htm

But you have deleted this corrupted video from your iPhone and you have tried many iPhone data recovery software. I recommend a fantastic iPhone data recovery software named PhoneRescue and offer you a post about how to recover deleted videos from iPhone 5. Resource from: http://www.imobie.com/support/reover-deleted-videos-from-iphone-5.htm After finishing this process, you can easily recover deleted videos from your iPhone 5.

Good luck to you!

You need to assign a file extension to the video.

What was it? Was it AVI, MP4, WMV, OGG, MKV?

This is how you do it:

(If the video was an OGG video file) go to the file, rename the file to "WhateverNameYouWant" then add .ogg at the end of the name, you want it to look like this:

WhateverNameYouWant.ogg

adding the .ogg will make your phone's operating system recognize the file type.

Hey,

If you paste the video to your computer, you can just find the video on your computer and import it to your iTunes and then sync back to your iPhone. It's easy to do that.
