Ladies: Does the story of how a guy got his scar actually impress you?

Guys need to understand that is just boring. We are more impressed by how you treat us. The macho stuff leave to your buddies. Just be nice, intelligent, and make us laugh.

99.9 % of the time, id be unimpressed....especially if they go out of their way to show you, but one time i noticed a scar on this guy's neck and asked him where he got it, he told me how when he was a teenager, one winter a neighbors kid fell into the river near his house (the ice collapsed under him) and this guy ran to try and help, slipped on some ice himself and fell into a jagged rock/ice pile and sliced his neck open....he did actually pull the little boy out of the water and he was fine after a few days......i actually knew the family that this happened to but never knew it was him who was the hero....that definitely was impressive and even better was the fact he never brought it up until i asked

It depends on the guy, and the story but usually I don't feel impressed.

if its a story about how you tried to save an animal or another person & got a scar in the process then yes :)

I get sick of hearing my husband tell me the SAME stories over and over and over about his dirtbike crashes. I've been in really bad mountainbike and horse accidents, but I don't talk his ear off about it.... but his stories were cool the first time around.



Anyway, I like a tough man.

um no! The only way I would be impressed is if he got it saving people from like a burning building or something like that.

it depends ........ if the scar is like the WOW stuff like he saved someone and got it i\would be great = impressed



but if he show me the scar he got from accident drunk driving = earning a slap
