I own: 2 pairs of Nike slides, 2 pairs of Adidas runners, 2 pairs of Sebago Boat shoes, and a pair of Bass dress shoes. Is this a lot or normal?

I suppose I have a lot... for a guy -

2 pair of cowboy boots

2 pair of work / logging boots

a pair of snow-pac boots

a pair of combat boots

a pair of flight boots

5 pair of "dress" shoes for my Navy uniforms (2 black, 2 white, and one brown)

a pair of K-Swiss tennis shoes

a pair of Sperry Top-Siders

a pair of Penny Loafers

a pair of Nike running shoes

So I guess that's 16 pair ?

It is now not a query of, "Why do guys now not like footwear" it's a query of "Why do women like sneakers". I buy the most affordable trainers I most likely can, I then wear them out unless they've entirely fallen apart after which I could consider buying new ones. Monks shave their hair off so that it's one less factor to worry about. It can be the equal with me, I've bought higher things to worry about than sneakers. In the event that they fit and feel relaxed and that i believe they will be long lasting and they are on sale 25% off i'll buy them! Spending more than 5 minutes in a shoe shop is a no no.

Two pairs for work, one pair for getting dressed up, one pair for cutting the grass, and flip flops for every day wear.

I would have just one pair for work, but my girlfriend bought me a second pair even though the first pair aren't worn out.

I have about 6 pair or so, but I usually only wear like 3 of them.
