firstly i am a postie.secondly i apologies if your item does not get delivered on time, but please try to understand the situation .the royal mail in there wisdom opened up the market so anybody [firm] ie TNT,deutch post can deliver your mail to you the customer.but in reality its the royal mail post person who actually delivers it[its called the final mile] so in short the government got Adam crozier[second in command] to sign an agreement allowing anyone and his father to process but not deliver your mail, this will still be done by the postie.its called down stream access.so basically other firms can process the mail but royal mail have to deliver it.on top of this post persons are expected to take a 40 pound a week pay cut but take on 25 per cent more work.[oh and in there wisdom we will be starting a lot later too.hence you the customer gets the mail even later]not good if you work from home is it] would you do that in your profession.so b4 you start slagging of your postie try emailing your local mp. or royal mail bosses.PPS they[the bosses] want to slash 40,000 jobs across royal mail.[noticed how if you are in a rural area that the local post offices are dwindling.trust me if the autocratic directors of royal mail get there way you ll be doing your post, pension.collecting, buying stamps.basically anything you do at the post office at the likes of WH ,smiths.that's if you or your grandmother can get there. i appreciate that you as the public probably have not heard much of this and ill tell you why because crozier[remember him] Mr i f u c k e d up the Fa.crozier and his boss Alan Leighton run in big circles with powerful men with shares in company's that want part of the market[give me money types].example royal mail recently paid out 40,000,000 to their managers in bonuses[and i mean in the last two weeks] what bonus did i get as the man on the ground delivering your mail.have a guess then read on................92 pence.yes 92 pence.the managers depending on there step on the ladder got between 1,500 pounds and 350,000 pounds.and that was just up to second in command i hate to think what Leighton got.this is the same man who destroyed [i think] asda.http://www.royalmailchat.co.uk/forum/portal.php go to that web site and learn the truth.god bless.trust not your government or royal mail bosses as they are friends with the press.[Murdoch and co].this is why it is not in the press much royal mail bosses ,shareholders are only interested in the power of the pound.trust me,they care not for you or me but only profit.........oh by the way if it is sent [your parcel] by special delivery they get the managers to deliver them so as not to lose face] so i hope you get what you are waiting for]PP PS its over 3 weeks as far as i am aware mail centres 1 day delivery the next that type of thing.back your postie .or you will have no service whatsoever in the near future.and yes you will be able to pick it up as the managers and some scabs are still working,if it is sent by special delivery the managers will make sure there is an at least a attempt to deliver leave a card to tell you where and when to pick it up as they are legally bound to do so.good luck and don't forget would you except a 40 pound decrease in your wages every week and 25 per cent more work.please pass this around as the press is in with royal mail bosses and the government.you only have to see what has happened up north and in Gloucester to see this government cares not a jot for its people[a few million for us] billions for Africa] you figure................
