Does this Grizzly Bear song show some Coldplay influence?

You know that my opinions are gold.





It's Coldplay-esque in the way it was recorded, but I think it has a lot more resonance and depth than your average Coldplay song. It's mood is a bit darker as well.



Oh and yeah yeah yeah "its more like RADIOHEAD LOL"



Although I will agree that it has a little Motion Picture Sountrack thing going for it- I'll let Grizzy Bear's merits lie in their own work. To me, it doesn't sound like Radiohead or Coldplay or whatever-the-f*ck, it sounds like Grizzly Bear.

It sounds sort of like Coldplay's 'The Scientist' mixed with the Cinematic Orchestra's 'To Build a home', Radiohead's 'Exit music (for a film)' and Snow Patrol's 'Chasing cars'. Also something else I can't remember at the moment.



edit: Make that Radiohead's 'Videotape'.

Mariana would have compared grizzly bear to radiohead, not coldplay.



grizzly bear opened for them last year. at least when i saw "the 'head"

Wow someone actually cleaned it up a little. Previously everytime I saw this, the atheist simply exclaimed "Oh my god", at least this one makes a little more sense. Still, he could have said "Oh my god (exclamatory, not literally praying), save me!". And the "make the bear a Christian" thing still really doesn't make sense - how would that help him?
