Ok so there's this free operating system called... LINUX. Google uses linux to run its servers and to provide that fast instant search... Unlike Windows, Linux most of the times is free. Actually I am writing right now from within linux. Yesterday I entered on someone's computer through Linux (using teamviewer). To be able to do certain stuff in teamviewer you have to be able to turn on the Scroll Lock button.
Guess what!! The scroll lock button is disabled by default. Searching the web I found out that in order to enable the scroll lock you have to do certain hackerish things.
You have to open the terminal and write at least one of these two commands:

xmodmap -pm

xmodmap -e 'add mod3 = Scroll_Lock'

Lol... How was I supposed to know that?!?!? I just showed you this as an example of what a hacker you need to be only to do simple stuff like being able to use the scroll lock button.

Do you agree that only computer nerds use Linux?

No. There can be two Operating Systems on one computer. I use Windows 7 Ultimate dual booted Linux Mint 8 Helena at startup. Unlike Windows, Linux Systems cant get viruses, so guys who want to stay really safe use Linux. Windows softwares cant run on Linux cause its a totally different OS. There are different ways to install softwares on Linux, for example, if you want to install VLC Media Player you'll have to run the setup file. Its not like that on Linux. You'll have to open the terminal and type "sudo apt-get install vlc" and press enter., enter the password and It'll download VLC form the net and install it.

Edit: Oh I totally forgot. Sorry. You can run Windows programs with wine. I dont use wine because I use Windows most of the time so I dont need them to run on Linux.

The Ubuntu distro ain't so bad. They also got lots of support for it.

Actually more Windows users could use Ubuntu than they think. It ain't that hard.
