If someone is being rude, or offensive do you report them on yahoo answers?

If you DO report people, what other reasons have you reported them for?

I have reported people for stupid answers like "+2" or "thanks for the 2" when they didn't include any other answer. I also report people for advertising when the product they are selling doesn't apply to the question. And since this is primarily a teenage website, I report sexually explicit answers that don't have anything to do with the question.

The only thing I've ever reported was an answer to one of my questions that gave a link with a virus.

I don't report for being rude but I do report for giving answers like IDK. That one bugs me because if you don't know the answer, PICK ANOTHER QUESTION! LOL What's the sense in racking up points by just putting IDK on all the answers. It takes up space and gives no real information. I also report when someone doesn't answer the question but just puts a bunch of random stuff to take up HUGE amounts of space. I am talking like a whole page with nothing but an x here and a P there....

I will report them for being obnoxious, if they are extremely crude, or if they are vulgar or use profanity and you're not a loser if you do like someone said, but doing the right thing. The real losers are the ones who make this a miserable place for decent folks who want to enjoy themselves.

I reported 2 people yesterday for making cracks against African Americans. One guys picture looked like a respected adult. I hope the bastard gets kicked off.

I think i have reported one person I cant remember what it was for it may of been spam or something i cant really remember but it was something i really found offensive. i can be pretty rude my self sometimes just for jokes lol

If people come here to seek advice and someone is not taking them seriously, then I guess they don't deserve to be taken seriously either. So reporting them is fun.. errr.. the right thing to do, I mean. :)



Reasons for reporting would be being disrespectful, unfair, trying to kill me blah blah let your imagination run wild!

well i never really reported them because you do not know where they are coming from and they might be joking, because it is not like you are talking to them in person, i have never reported someone, but i know tons of people who do.

I have reported people who really REALLY crossed the line. It is very very rare. I have been reported for things as simple as posting the question: "Do you have a dog, whats it name?"

I try to imagine how I would feel if my son were to read some of the answers and if they are blatantly vulgar. Its not hard to replace the "i" in sh!t. Its just polite. The man censors us be cause we refuse to censor ourselves.
