I grew up listening to the classics radio station when my dad would drive, so naturally they bring back memories and I adore those old songs. =)

Of course teenagers listen to oldies, it's your friends that need to update!

For the past few years it's been a growing trend to listen to oldies, and I have to admit, there's some good music!

We are all different, therefore we all have our different interests and opinions on everything. To answer your question, yes, there are some teenagers that listen to oldies. I believe it's because we discover old great music late, and we like it, we like it a lot. It's a good way for old artists to stay alive, they would be forgotten if young people didn't listen to them, because eventually adults that lived in that generation would get tired of them eventually, and it's the teenagers job to listen to it and keep it alive.

What would you classify as "Oldies"? Some teens think that Oldies are songs that were released three years before they were born.

Edit--

I can't speak for all teens but I listen to them, I have songs on my iPod that venture further back then the '60s.

I'm about to be 15 and I love to listen to Oldies sometimes ♥

Nothing wrong with that.

Some Oldies songs are better than todays songs.

I'm 18 and that's just about all I listen to. The 60's and 70's was the golden age of music. She is apparently a music LOVER, not just a music listener. Whoever said she was 'weird' is just a pathetic sheeple who only listens to the mainstream garbage that's so popular. You can't even call mainstream radio 'music'. It's extremely childish, unoriginal, generic, and just plain dumb. Whoever refuses to listen to something just because it's 'old' is extremely immature.

I never hated oldies. Listened to classic rock since I was born. It's not weird. You need new friends.

You must not like this girl if you want her to change for your friends. If my boyfriend said that his friends thought that I was weird and needed to "update" my music I'd tell him its none of their business what I listen to. And how old are you that you wonder what "teenagers" listen to?

Don't judge someone based on what kinda music they listen to . It's just their preference . I like some old songs(: I also know some people who listen to ONLY old songs . They're really funny & outgoing people , so don't judge .

Well I still listen to The Carpenters & Celine Dion, & I used to listen to them all the time when I was little so I dunno if that counts. I'm sure everyone listen to oldies no matter how old they are
