What Do You Do With Spam (Junk e-Mail?)?

Question

I delete it all unread
I delete anything that has $$$ signs in the subject
I delete anything that has the word AD in the headline or looks like it could be an ad
I sometimes find new products to buy from reading unsolicited commercial mail
Sometimes I send people unsolicited email marketing my products or services to people whose names I've found in online communities, but that's not spam, it's information.
I use it all the time to find new customers
I lodge a complaint with appropriate parties about the spam

I delete it all unread, but first I laugh at the email subjects.

My G-mail account automatically sorts out all of the spam. I then scan the senders and make sure that somebody that actually meant something didn't end up in the spam before I delete it forever.

i do delete all of it, but since the computer checks against viruses and i dont have to worry about that, sometimes i open it to look for a link or address i can use to prevent more mail from that place.

When I check my mail, there is a button on top of my mailbox asking if it is spam or not. When it is spam, I just click SPAM. They never ever come back again....its Yahoo's mail. Only one I use now...give it a try..good luck

I usually just forward it to [e-mail] or wherever the spam email came from. Most of the time I don't even bother with it, just sent straight to trash.

I throw it all out. My name has been sold and taken from wherever I have clicked on. Now, I get all sorts of crap, but it goes unread and flushed from my junk email.

with yahoo's bulk mail folder it makes it easier, i just skim through and make sure something i wanted didn't end up in there, but the vast majority of the time i end up deleting it all.
