Should I just start lying to people about how I spend my weekends? more...?

Question

They so, what did you do this weekend, I say I ran in a race, they bray like donkeys," YOU"RE CRAZY!"

SO,what is a good all around lie, cuz I'm sick of it.

Tell them you stayed inside all weekend eating Cheetos naked on a bean bag chair ... and see if any of them did the same. You're not crazy, they're just lazy!! :) I'm with you .... run.

I definitely would tell them what you did! You ran a race?? I couldn't run around my block!!! LOL I think it would be great to hear about your race and the people and everything you saw. If they're not interested in what you do they shouldn't ask. But, you should not be 'embarrassed' or feel you have to lie to your friends about what you did on the weekends. I commend you for doing it...you're keeping yourself in shape and staying outdoors! Just stick with the truth and don't worry about what they think...running is a race is better than being a couch potato! ;) ~Kendra Leigh

When they bray, "You're Craaaaaazy?"

I would bray back, "You're Laaaaaazy!"

Or next time just say, "Now why would I tell you, you'll just say I'm crazy and I'm kind of getting burned out on that..."



Or since you asked for a good all around lie....Look them straight in the eye and say, "I killed yo mamma, F*cked your Daddy, beat the crap out of your kids, buried your dog, and gave your filthy husband a bath. How was YOUR weekend?"

You could, but why? They want to know what you did, you tell them, and that's just how they reacted to it.



You could say "Oh, I just stayed in, did some gardening." And they'll nod, and move on to the next topic of discussion. What's the fun in that? Wow them with how awesome you are, and screw 'em if they've got a problem! It's their problem, not your's! :D

lying is dumb and you might regret it later.

like, what if they ask you "how'd you do that" or "who'd you do it with" you'd be stuck there, cause they could just go out and get in a convo with that person that you said you spent your weekend with and they might get to the weekend convo and you'll be busted. just stick to the truth and have more fun. think of something interesting to do with your weekends.
