i think george michael rocks

XD people call me all sorts of names for liking his songs ... wow lol ah well i think he's soo cool .. he made two songs that bring back the good memories of my childhood

1. jesus to a child
2. never gonna dance again

if hating him is wrong i dont wanna be right rotfl .. like we all know ..lol im straight

is there any artist u listen to or any song u like that made u get a bit of heat off your mates? ... or might raise a few eyebrows among your lot?

i know what u mean, i get a lot of hassle for listening to marilyn manson (slightly different then george!lol)

im not emo or a goth or anything, i just really like his music. its helped me through some tough times.

I liked George Micheal when I was in high school. He was cool. Much better music now. I'm into Project 86, Red, John Reubin, Toby Mac, TBone (awesome), Pillar. And, most get me heat since first, I'm a mom of 4 grown children and I guess not supposed to listen to alternative stuff. The kids love telling their friends they are listening to Mom's music though. 2nd because all those artists are Christian, which usually doesn't go over big here or even at church - I guess Country (ick) is the only "real" Christian music - ugh. I like heat though, as long as it is on this side of death. I'm looking to avoid it when I cross over.

Musical taste is totally subjective, and life would be boring if we all liked the same thing. I'm not really bothered if others don't share my taste.



I've had a bit of stick in the past for being a Backstreet Boys fan, but there are so many other bands I like as well.

Hey man, I respect you for this! There's a lot of pressure these days about what you listen to (I'm 16 so I know myself) and being yourself and individual by saying exactly what you like is one of the best things you can do. Why should you care about what other people think? If you like listening to George Michael, then listen to him and good on you I say! And heat off my mates... I listen to a lot of different music, from Linkin Park to Frank Sinatra to Sum 41 to Michael Buble to Spandau Ballet :P But people are used to that now... Used to raise eyebrows and still do sometimes, but listen to what you want and listen to it proud!

I'm with you. I like most kinds of music, and I appreciate talent. George Michaels is a good vocalist and sings some great songs. While I don't agree with his lifestyle, I do admire his ability. Elton John, Rob Halford just to name a few

I dont particularly like george micheal songs, basically because I dont like that type of music, but still I cannot deny he is an amazing singer and just because hes gay and stuff doesnt affect his entertaining ability. I get heat for liking 2pac, I think hes amazing, but everyone says you cant understand what hes saying etc, but i dont care, i love his music anyway.

Yes! I lovvve My Chemical Romance and when I tell people they bash them. It's totally weird. So now I think 'if you bash my music I'll bash yours'. Haha XD No one has even heard of Alesana and From First To Last that I talk to. I hate that fact that my town is all rap\hip-hop or whatever. Rap or ssome people like heavy metal.
