why don't they televise executions of convicted killers in the places where they still have capital punishment?

Actually watching someone frizzle to death in the electric chair may put others off committing these hideous offences and perhaps give the victim's family a greater sense of satisfaction that justice has been done.

In your opinion: Should executions be televised?

To my mind, that justice must be "seen to be done" means simply that it is understood to be done, not that it literally must be viewed by the general public.

Certainly not executions, which don't exist in my country anyway.

Nor are courtroom proceedings, genrally, either, which is no great problem. I don't want British justice to be turned into Judge Judy style semi-entertainment, thanks a lot.

I don't support the death penalty but I understand you here and with a sacrifice in the other end then broadcasting it ought to be a bit more efficient in deterring right? Wrong! basic humanity would repel this, but they think they can have both you see to kill someone and be clean but I know they're not, even the victims family which is completely understandable but not right and simply cannot be allowed; to potentially forgive and to watch them die, would you encourage this behaviour with a child?

I gladly support a death row inmate refusing to forgive I laugh when I see that killing them is not actually enough and that they want to probe this out of them pathetic and weak, all so they can just walk out the door after and to where exactly. To all the people in society supporting this crap that had nothing to do with anything why support it then? They tell you to ignore when you're a child, yet you involve yourselves in killing one, why support the killing of a human being? It's falsified ideology and puts blood on your hands and makes you look weak and insecure to a logic that is flawed, and let's face it you fuel all these executions because the little guy in his office and the staff are just the robots to your command.

Back in the days when pickpockets were publicly hanged, other pickpockets worked the crowds attending the executions.

No. It may make martyrs of the criminal, the bleeding hearts will bang on their right to a dignified death ............ their victims don't normally have a dignified death.
