My grandparents had 9 children, including my super cool Dad.
The other awesome Grandfather was a Musician, and a Captain in the Army.

My maternal grandfather was a Milk Man. He had 3 daughters and 1 son. He died when I was 9 months old, but I have vague memories of sitting on his lap and being thoroughly fascinated by the hair on his arms.
My paternal grandfather worked in a paper factory. He had two sons. I was very close with him. He was a part of my life until he died when I was 32 years old. We always felt a kinship because we were the only two in our family who were curly haired and left handed. I still miss him.

If I'm not mistaken, my mom's dad was a research chemist. He also worked for a while as the piano player in the silent movie theaters. Did you know there used to be live music soundtracks in the movie theaters? I always thought that was a cool little history tidbit. :)
My dad's dad was a magician who performed as "The Great Brandoni". He did the Vaudeville circuit and dragged my dad all over the country as a child.
They had three and four kids, respectively.

My mom's dad went to California during the dust bowl. He picked cotton and taters 'til he got a job driving a truck. One day on the road he felt suicidal and drove his truck up to the edge of a cliff. He told God, 'God if you are real, show yourself to me and I won't drive this truck over' and God said 'I want you to preach for me' Grandpa said 'But God, I can't read. If I can't read the bible, how can I preach your word?' and God said, 'Go home and open your bible' Grandpa went home, opened the bible, and read every word in it. Then he preached til the day he died at 80 years old.
My dad's dad went to California during the dust bowl. He got lucky and got a job building the Friant-Kern canal. After that, he had odd jobs in construction until he opened up his own TV repair/sales store. He was very succesful that mom and pop business and retired in Morro Bay. He was one of the greatest men I've ever met. Stone cold deaf from the age of 14.
they each had 3 children
