Yes, but be VERY careful not to scratch it, especially when drying it off.

The liquid will probably get rid of the stickiness, sure, but it wouldn't touch the scratches.

Just use water. For scratches you will need to get a scratch remover because no amount of cleaning will remove scratches

rubbing alcohol or a cleaner like windex would be better

If i were you, i d just wipe it off with water. And always when you wipe/dry them off, use a lint free cloth, and wipe outwards starting from the center. don t dry them as if you re drying dinner plates. good luck.

Use peroxide.
There's gunk right in the scratches, that's why it fails to read.
Peroxide goes deep in the scratches and push out the built in gunk.
