I am sure this has happened to most of us.

You switch on the TV, channel surf a bit, see a film that looks interesting, or has a famous actor in it and you think, cool, I'll watch this. or you see that it is just starting because of the names & the music, you know. Or there is a sitcom that seems quite funny...So you watch it till the end. But you have no idea what film it is you just watched.

Sure you can get a tv guide or go onlinebut sometimes you can't, e.g. in a hotel. You are not going to walk out of the hotel, go to a shop just to buy a newspaper so you can check the tv listings. SO if you do not have a cable type remote control that brings up the name of what you are watching you might never know.

This is really annoying.

I know a few do but that is very very rare. Why do they not have the common sense to put the name of the tv-show or movie at the end of the film/show too?

I suppose they assume that people always watch films from the start. It's happened to me quite a few times and it is rather frustrating - especially if you you like a film so much that you want to watch it again, or go out and buy the DVD.

Because no one has thought of it yet. Sounds like you are the first. You should get that idea out there some kind of way.

Well that would be like putting the title at the end of a book...
