I love chicken, beef....all of it.

Pretty much the only animal I won't eat is anything from the ocean.

Why do you think it is wrong to eat meat?? Is it for moral reasons or b/c you don't like the taste?

The Cat also loves meat. However, The Cats human has a neice who is vegetarian. She just doesn't like the taste and texture of meat is all...

The Cat does not like the taste and texture of vegetables, so it works out quite well when she visits.

If you knew the way that some of these animals where treated I think all of us would become vegan. We can pretend all we like that animals don't fell pain but they do. Some don't even get to live a full life before getting slathered (for example veal-baby cows). I wouldn't like being murdered in the most horrible way only to be eaten by some person that might just throw it away. I'm not even a vegetarian yet...but thinking about this makes it hard to eat meat sometimes unless I know where it came from. I think it would be okay to eat meat only if we appreciate the source that it came from and be sure that the animals are not treated with cruelty.

some don't like the taste. my friend stopped eating meat because of the harsh ways the animals are treated before slaughter. I personally only like chicken but i'm okay w/ beef and sometimes salmon. i hate most seafood though. icky. i've always wanted to be vegitarian because meats not my favorite thing but i'm gluten intolerant(no wheat) and i have a dairy allergy.

I'm not a vegetarian, nor a vegan but, I do believe, they don't eat meat because of animal cruelty. How they are treated and how they are slaughtered. It's basically all about animal rights. ON THE OTHER HAND, people don't eat meat because they just don't like it ...

Being a dedicated omnivore, I am unable to answer from a Vegan/Vegetarian point of view. However, human beings are omnivores for a reason. We need the protein to work with the vitamins and minerals for our bodies to function correctly. If you can find and consume enough of a reasonable protein substitute to stay healthy, good for you. However, Veganism/Vegetarianism is like any other ism -- be it republicanism, Catholicism, atheism, Darwinism, whateverism -- it should be kept to yourself and not shoved down someone else's throat.

Why won't you eat anything from the ocean?

Well, I hate meat. It tastes gross. And I hate the way they abuse them to give it to us. I don't feel comfortable eating something that was abused and killed just so I could eat it.

I know I'm not saving animals but being vegetarian, but I just don't want to take part in eating it. It's my choice. And I know it's not bringing them back to life but I don't have to take part in eating nasty abused food so I don't.

veggies have feelings to.i don't mean vegetarians.i mean the poor thing that is happy living a peace full life in the ground and then comes along a big bad person who does not want to kill a living thing or something with a face and devours it .these people should look at their digestive track and see that the Human being is meant to eat meat

I'm a Vegetarian.

I mean, Who would like to watch their family be killed?

If they were killed with no harm, it didn't hurt them, I would eat meat sometimes.

But really, would you like to be tied up and have your head cut off?

They should not be killed for our taste buds....

They should be free, Live a happy life.

I just hate that the poor animals have to suffer their lives and die a painful death to be on your dinner plate.

Vegetarian for 6 years.

I don't think there's anything wrong with it, per se. It's just healthier to limit your consumption of em.
